IN THE MOVEMENT. August 3, 2007, European Movement Latvia. The European Movement in Latvia, a pro-European information and lobby NGO is looking for two volunteers for its main office in Riga, Latvia. The EML has already hosted two EVS volunteers. The project should last 1^st December 2007 till 30 November 2008. Deadline for applications: 27^th August 2007.

We are looking for young people with good English skills and a strong interest to learn Latvian and to communicate with people. They should have NGO and/or EU experience, creativity, project/event design and/or PR skills.

The project includes a leading role in organising street activities, seminars and conferences during Europe week 2008. Depending on the interests and skills of the volunteers, they will be involved in the activities with the national and international partners of the EML, and different events on EU topics and civic participation.
